Join us in committing to at least 5 minutes of yoga per day for the month of June. Each day we will provide a pose and a short video showing a variety of different ways to practice.
How you practice, where you practice, who you practice with, and what props you use is up to you. Have fun and be creative! Snap a photo and share with us, so that we can celebrate and support this time of practice together as a community.
A bit about why:
- It's easy to think that you have to be in the "just right" environment to do yoga. NOT TRUE! Yoga can be practiced anywhere with any prop.
- Deciding to take time to stretch/practice is the hardest part but once you do it, you almost always never regret it. This challenge is to help kickstart a healthy habit and teach us that we can always fit in 5 minutes of yoga no matter where our summer adventuring takes us..
- Because we believe that :
- Some yoga is better than no yoga.
- Practicing anywhere is better than no practice at all.
- The world is full of props-we can use them!
- Connecting with our body thru breath, mindfulness, and movement brings JOY!
